About the Site

I've been a Xena fan since the show aired here in Finland for the first time in 1997-2004. I also became a big Lucy Lawless fan, as a result, and enjoy lots of the other actors too!

I previously had a Xena fansite for something like 16 years, I think, in one form or another, until I closed it down in February 2020 due to health stuff. My last domain was xenacentral.net but that one's not available now, so I bought xenacentral.com for this one. I also had a Lucy Lawless fansite for a long time, as well as other actor and tv show fansites. At one point I had close to 20 fansites going on. I fell chronically ill in 2008, and eventually I ended up shutting down all my fansites by 2022 due to exhaustion caused by ill health.

HQ screencapping has always been my thing, what I'm known for in fandoms. I also do a lot of wallpapers, icons and FocusWriter themes for lot of fandoms, including Xena.

I follow Lucy Lawless’s career and whenever I see her in something new, I get the urge to watch some Xena again, and when I do that I want the Xena site to exist again 😊 Then in 2023 I found great quality Xena source (AI regraded upconvert from SD), the best the show is ever going to look without an actual genuine SD to HD conversion from original film/video footage, and off capping I went again. And then I started the temp gallery at https://xena.so-obsessed.com and have been slowly uploaded those AI regraded HD Xena screencaps there and now here.

I needed to take a break from fansites, but now I’m feeling again like I can do a fansite again after having had the temp Xena gallery up for about a year but it not taking too much out of me, and it getting lots of traffic inspires me! So here we are, trying this fansite thing again 😁Here you can find my Xena and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys screencaps (only selected episodes from HTLJ, my faves) as well as fanart, and photos I've collected from around the net. I have also uploaded again the Xena photos from Mike Quick's deleted site - at the end he gave permission for people to do that, before he deleted his site.
